I had a wonderful and engaging tour with Collin our tour guide. He was professional , knowledgeable and very helpful and accommodating. We learned a lot during our trip to the Champagne region and while driving to Versailles. I would highly recommend the tour company as well as our guide Collin.

Colin picked us up at our hotel in Paris and drove us to Normandy for our tour. This is a very long day but an excellent experience and Colin made the most of it. He was very knowledgeable and had an iPad full of pictures and graphic history that brought the DDay experience to life. While our day started at 7am and ended at 7pm, Colin's day was even longer but he was cheerful and excellent company the entire time. Would not hesitate using Finding France and Colin for any touring. We actually spent the past 10 days with Clement (owner) and his team and they are fantastic.

Louis-Marie was our guide. He was amazing. His English was perfect. Great driver and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of our tour. He was kind, understanding and very patient. Anyone would be very lucky to have him as their guide.

Agnes did a very good job!

We had the most wonderful experience with Agnes! She was our guide for three memorable days in Reims. We started with the large champagne houses (Veuve, Pommery and Ruinart) and then spent two additional days in the champagne countryside.

Clement was an exceptional chauffeur & guide providing us with a personalized experience that was enjoyable for our entire group. I can’t say enough great things about our day. We saw everything we wantes to see and so much more than we could have expected! This is a day we will always remember!

We took a private day tour to Normandy from Paris ! It was well worth the money . Family of 4 travels in a black Mercedes van ! Very comfortable, water and charging cords available! Gilles Lorand was our guide from Finding France tours . He was extremely knowledgeable and very informative! He took us to a wonderful local family owned restaurant. We saw Omaha and Utah beach , the American cemetery and several other sites in Normandy . Gilles walked us through the entire events that transpired up till D-Day and beyond ! Make sure to bring cash to tip !

This was an all day excursion to the Normandy beaches and the heroes museum and memorial cemetery.. Our guide and driver was Agnes. We traveled from Paris to Normandy which is a three hour drive each way. Agnes was wonderful. She is a very safe driver who was able to engage with information regarding our tour as well as the surrounding countryside along the way. We stopped halfway out for a break and engaged in lovely personal conversation. She is quite an interesting lady and she is equally interested in you.we toured the beaches first. Agnes has a wealth of information, very energetic. There is a lot of walking and climbing into bunkers and such. We did it all. Then on to lunch at a boulangerie in a quiet little village that Agnes knew of. Again lovely conversation and a nice sandwich. On to the memorial, which is tremendously moving and Agnes did a wonderful job of sharing her extensive knowledge of this very moving memorial. She also has a good amount of printed material collected on her own to share. The ride back was quite enjoyable as we all shared conversation on our lives and common interests. This is a long day, Agnes made it memorable. I would go on another tour anytime. Thank you, Agnes for making this tour moving and memorable.

We had a fantastic tour today of Versailles (~3 Hrs), including the gardens. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our driver, Colin, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Our guide, Melvin, has spoiled us for future tours with his expertise of art, history and culture including and beyond the Chateau. He allowed us to take it all in without having to reference our phones or a map and we learned so much! It was a once in a lifetime tour with my Mom and we enjoyed it so much.

We had a wonderful tour of the flea market with Augustine! He was so incredibly knowledgeable about the layout of the flea market and knew where to take us to find all of the treasures we were looking for! We will be definitely be back!

Best way to see it all in a day: Normandie, beaches, cemetery. Our guide, Gilles was so knowledgeable and friendly. He presented the information in a way that engaged us. We learned so much. He was able to accommodate my disability by occasionally finding a place for me to rest while he and my husband covered areas that were more strenuous. He also pointed out interesting things on the ride to and from. This was the best tour - if you are thinking about taking a private tour, do this one - you will be glad you did. I would love to take another tour if we ever travel back to Paris area again.

We had Gilles Lorand as our guide when touring the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day landings in 1944. Gilles was an amazing guide who provided a very comprehensive tour and we definitely came away from it knowing much more about the historic events than we did going into the tour. I’ll start with the fact that I am a travel advisor, who books trips to France frequently, and this DMC knocked it out of the park! I came to Clement, and his Finding France team, with a very last minute Christmas Market tour request, which they graciously accepted when others said it was too close to departure date. Fining France proceeded to blow it out of the water with an amazing initial itinerary, great communication, and easy payments. My clients raved about their trip daily and even when they got home, they are still talking about the amazing and memorable trip that Clement provided for us. I recently planned an event in Paris, and as the needs continued to grow, I searched for destination management companies (DMC) and found Finding France. From my first call with Clement, I knew we were in good hands. I also confirmed Finding France’s reputation with the 5-star hotel I booked, where Clement came highly recommended. Clement managed individualized airport transfers across three Paris airports and two train stations. He arranged private rooms at restaurants with affordable rates, entertainment options, and large shuttles for our group, accommodating last-minute changes and additions seamlessly. The highlight was a stellar experience at the Musée d’Orsay with no wait. The language assistance Clement provided was invaluable, as none of our team spoke French. If you need a DMC in France, Finding France should be your top choice.

Finding France is hands-down one of the best tour companies we’ve ever worked with. My husband and I planned a customized 5-day trip with Clément and his team throughout Alsace (with stops along the way) in November 2022, and it truly was the experience of a lifetime that we still talk about to date (this review is long overdue, which we will blame on having two small children under 2 since that time!). We had a lot of requests for our trip, and Finding France helped answer all of our questions and plan the perfect itinerary without any hiccups. My family and I have taken many tours throughout Europe and have worked with many different guides, and Clément is the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He is extremely accommodating and responsive, and he is also a complete pleasure to be around! He really went above and beyond to help us plan our itinerary to not only include all the “must-sees” on our list, but also to include unique cultural experiences we would not otherwise have known about. He also helped us make various reservations throughout the trip and had wonderful recommendations at every step of the way (including for hotels, restaurants, activities, and more). He is the ultimate professional— he is extremely knowledgeable (we learned a lot!) and he is also very kind, fun, and thoughtful (he even frequently offered to take our picture whenever there was a good photo op, without us even asking ☺️, so we have some amazing pictures and memories from the trip). Other members on his team that we emailed with during the process (like Romain) were also extremely helpful. We are hoping to take another trip back to France in the next year or two, and we absolutely plan to use Finding France again for our future visit. Our driver was very accommodating, making a couple extra stops for us and even recommending a good restaurant for us and making reservations for two families that were part of the tour.

Clément was the most amazing guide for the Normandy trip with my mother. She tore her hamstring before the trip and was moving slow but Clément was very accommodating and anticipated every need that we could ever want well in advance, constantly offering his arm for her stability and pace. He ran to get her a wheelchair in the rain when she became tired with walking. He was intuitive and very knowledgeable of the history & geography during our ride. He supplied a thorough explanation with maps and petit guides to the French monarchy, the history of France and castles of the region. He was patient and kind with stops for toilette & café. He would pull the car near to lessen the walking for us and increase his. We had great conversation and immensely enjoyed the entire day. I wish he had been our guide for every day of our trip.

My family and I throughly enjoyed our day with “JILL”. The tour of Normandy and the American cemetery was powerful and moving. Jill added substantial depth to the already moving moment of just being there. His little unknown back stories of soldiers was just fascinating not to mention the depth of understanding of the invasion itself and all the miracles that had to happened for the mission to be a success. Things I never knew nor understood. We enjoyed a delightful outdoor lunch at a local apple orchard. They were also a cider and spirt distillery where we got to meet the owner and do a tasting with him. Just so fun and interesting!

Clement and his group made this a once in a lifetime day! Clement is very knowledgeable with tons of information to share. He’s also warm and welcoming. Our experience that day with the champagne maker was truly fantastic and we loved the entire day! Thank you Clement and Eric!!

We absolutely loved this full day tour with Agnes and highly recommend it!! She was super friendly and prepped us during our drive from Paris to Èpernay with lots of information about champagne. We toured Moet et Chandon in the morning which was informative and fun, had a lovely lunch with additional champagne tastings at a restaurant in Hautvillers and then visited Pierre Morlet in the afternoon which was an absolute treat to meet the head of this family-owned house and see things up close. We even got to see a disgorging! This was a fabulous way to spend a day learning about and tasting champagne. À votre santé!

Our group of four had the good fortune of spending the day with Clement from Finding France for a private tour of the D-Day Beaches from Paris. Clement arrived at our Le Marais hotel promptly at 7:30 a.m., as promised. The trip began with a lovely tour and commentary within the city of Paris, as we made our way through and out of the city. On the way to the Beaches, Clement shared a good amount of history and background of WW2 and D-Day, which provided a solid foundation from which to experience the locations to which we were headed. The day far exceeded our expectations, and Finding France gets all of the credit for the success of our day. Be prepared for a little wind and rain at times on the coast, but it won't dampen the day. The story behind the cliff at Pointe du Hoc, Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and the Normandy American Cemetery was all brought to life by Clement, who is a gifted story teller. We opted for a quick lunch (in lieu of longer, more formal affair) to maximize our tour time. We felt very cared for throughout the entire day, with restroom and coffee stops along the way. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the lovely stop at a family farm for cider tasting. Thank you to Clement and his top-notch tour and event company, Finding France, for such an outstanding day.

We did the Normandy full day private tour from Paris. This tour was absolutely perfect. It’s a long day because it’s about a 3 Hour drive from Paris to Normandy, but it’s with your own personal driver and a very nice van so it was quite comfortable and we had four adults and two children. The tour perfectly hit all of the highlights that we wanted to see in Normandy, including some lunch and a quick stop for some cider. It was quite the perfect day and our tour guide Gilles was amazing. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful trip to Normandy and Mont Saint Michelle arranged by Finding France. Our guide and driver was terrific. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us a wonderful history of the area. Finding France also selected a wonderful hotel and restaurants for us in Bayeux. As we left Paris for Normandy, Gilles discussed historical facts about Paris as well as facts about its architecture. It was obvious Gilles was very knowledgeable about the events of WW II but he also provided entertaining stories which made our tour even more enjoyable. We learned so much about France, Normandy, and the events surrounding WW II. He took us to an apple farm and we were able to sample a variety of ciders. We had lunch at a local restaurant where we were able to experience the local culture. This tour was an excellent experience which exceeded our expectations. We had a great day touring Utah and Omaha beaches plus the U.S. cemetery. Gilles was informative and a wonderful guide for our family.

Our tour with Giles was very interesting and worthwhile. We are very interested in World War II history, and he gave a great tour with lots of information about the war, specific sites, and people. He took us to all of the most important sites of the area, often stopping to explain interesting facts. Giles was also a great guide apart from the history. We visited an awesome Cider tasting place, and the overall conversation all day was great. Overall, it was a very eyeopening journey through Normandy for us, and we would not have been able to learn as much without Giles!

You can hear the excitement in her voice when she talks about the area. She also took us to some other off the road places that were fun to see as well. She also was a very safe driver and got our group to and from safely. We would use her again!

Great Normandy experience

Traveled to Paris and included a trip to Normandy. Our guide and excursion to Normandy was superb. I would highly recommend a small group guided tour with Gilles!

We used Finding France for a private tour of the D-Day beaches in Normandy. Agnès, our tour guide, was incredibly helpful, picked us up on time and made some great suggestions for our tour along the way. She shared with us lots of information along the way as well as passed out maps and photos for us to see what she was describing to us. Our party of four truly enjoyed the tour. We will book with Finding France again in the future.

Gilles was an amazing host and tour guide. He is a natural student of life and history, and all of his reading and study was on display while in the vehicle and on the beaches of Normandy. I highly recommend this Normandy D-Day tour. I learned So much, and he also engaged our children ages 10 and 11.

We had 2 wonderful day tours with Jean Baptiste and Agnès from Finding France. Both guides were interesting and interested in everything the champagne region had to offer. We learned so much on our tours and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend!

Although we had been to France before, this was going to be our first time in Paris. We were only going to be there a very short time, and wanted to see as much as possible. We chose a customized private guided tour with Finding France with a guide and driver. We were in awe of everything we saw, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre the Sacré Coeur Basilica, and Saint Germain des Pres. Our guide, Lucia, was fabulous. She was professional, knowledgeable, and witty. She easily adapted our tour according to time, traffic, crowds, etc. Her English was perfect, allowing us to understand everything she was saying. Lucia, and our drivers, and our contact at Finding France were all easy to communicate with either by email, text, or phone. I would use them again without hesitation. We could never have accomplished all that we did if we had been on our own.

Under the vivacious Katrin, our Finding France tour guide, our small group visited the perfection that is Provence, France. Our base, a beautiful hotel in Sausset les Pins, overlooking the Mediterranean, served as a wonderful starting point for each day's adventure into this truly lovely area of France. Chocolates in Marseille, artistry and handmade goodies in Baux de Provence, Van Gogh in Arles, delicious cheeses in Aix en Provence, lavender, wines, chateaus, oh my! The mix of history, culture, exquisite foods, music, markets, and fun made it a trip of a lifetime. Did I mention the luxurious fragrances of finely crafted soaps and perfumes? All of these wonderful experiences were hewn together in a tailor-made tour whose plan itself was a work of art by Clement and his team at Finding France.
