About Slovenian Convention Bureau
Since 2004, Slovenian Convention Bureau has marketed Slovenia as a destination for business events across Ljubljana and the broader country. The organisation operates as a member-based platform connecting meeting planners with over 60 active suppliers including convention centres, hotels, PCOs and DMCs.
The bureau delivers services across meetings, incentives, conferences, corporate events, venue sourcing and itinerary planning. It provides free assistance to meeting planners, acting as an intermediary between organisers and local suppliers. The Congress Ambassadors program supports international conferences and congresses, while the venue-finding service—including Star Locations for business events—helps planners identify suitable spaces. The team also manages incoming tourism for Slovenia and forwards RFPs to relevant suppliers. Green meetings support and custom event planning round out the offering.
Operating with a small team of 1-10 people, Slovenian Convention Bureau serves as the central contact point for planners seeking to host incentive travel experiences, corporate meetings and large-scale exhibitions in Slovenia.
