The role of a DMC in the MICE industry

MICE DMCs cover every standard event format and work as the operational layer for international travel planners:

Meetings: Board meetings, sales kickoffs and workshops. DMCs source the right venues, managed staff transfers, and coordinate food and beverage services.
Conferences and congresses: Multi-day, multi-track events — including hybrid formats — for 200 to 5,000+ delegates. DMCs work along with Professional Congress Organizers (PCO) to arrange logistics, social programs, and post-conference tours.

What to include in a MICE brief

A clear brief gets better proposals. Include:

Program dates, delegate count, and budget range per person
Event format (plenary session, breakout room, exhibition, social programs etc.)
Venue preferences (convention center, hotel, or unique spaces)
AV and production requirements (see our Event Production page)
Transfer needs (to and from the airport, between event venues, any VIP requirements etc.)
Accommodation star level, proximity needs, room block size
Dietary, accessibility, and sustainability requirements
