About Valais/Wallis Promotion
Operating across Sion, Martigny and Monthey, Valais/Wallis Promotion is the official intersectoral promotion organisation for the Canton of Valais, handling inbound tourism and destination development for the region.
The organisation designs custom multi-day itineraries across four seasons and manages group and private tours covering Valais's 15 must-see cultural sites. Its trekking expeditions span named trails including Lac de Fenêtre near La Fouly and the Gorges de la Vièze in Monthey. Culinary offerings feature local market visits and Valais specialty products such as asparagus, while wine-tasting programmes include regional cave tours through Les Caves Ouvertes du Valais. Accommodation options range from hotels and apartments to unusual accommodations. For corporate clients, the organisation runs MICE services—congresses, seminars and trade partner support—alongside incentive travel programmes. Ground transfers are supported through the Mobility Ticket, which includes free return travel. All services reflect focus on local terroir and regional gastronomy.
