About Sangro-Aventino
Since 1998, Società Consortile Sangro-Aventino has managed destination development across the Sangro-Aventino territorial system in Santa Maria Imbaro, Italy. Operating as the responsible body for the Sangro Aventino Territorial Pact, the consortium functions as a development agency dedicated to valorizing regional resources and enhancing the local economic and social context.
The company delivers ground handling, incoming tourism, itinerary planning, activities, entertainment, accommodation, transfers, event design, and concierge services. Its incoming division focuses on cultural resources, religious tourism, and environmental tourism valorization. Activities programming emphasizes trabocchi experiences—traditional fishing platform tourism—Maiella mountain tourism, and agro-alimentari production tours. Event design services integrate intersectoral actions with territorial planning frameworks, while ground handling covers destination management and territorial development initiatives.
As the coordinating body for the Sangro Aventino Territorial Pact, Sangro-Aventino operates with a mandate to promote economic development and employment while building social capital across the region.
