Since 1997, Sistema Monferrato has operated across Asti and Alessandria as a private tourism consortium recognized by Piedmont Region. One of Piedmont’s first fully private tourism operator consortiums, it now brings together 100+ member enterprises serving both provinces through operational offices in Asti and Alessandria.
The consortium manages accommodation across 1,400+ beds spanning hotels, agriturismi, B&Bs, and historic residences. Activity offerings include wine tours, cycling experiences, trekking, e-bike itineraries, and cultural programming. Ground handling services cover tourist guides, tour operator services, car rental, and e-bike rental. Sistema Monferrato also provides incoming coordination, itinerary planning, transfers, vendor management, entertainment, and concierge services across its member network.
With a team of 200+, Sistema Monferrato combines the infrastructure of a substantial operation with the collaborative model of its consortium structure, enabling coordinated delivery across the Monferrato wine region and surrounding territories.
