Coop. Dafne

Since 1994, D.A.F.N.E. Soc. Coop. Impresa Sociale operates across Genova and the broader Liguria region, delivering environmental education and cultural heritage promotion rooted in regenerative tourism principles.

The cooperative manages guided visits, hiking excursions, and environmental education programmes alongside incoming services through its tour operator division Dafne Viaggi. It designs modular itineraries and personalised experiences for individual visitors, school groups, and corporate clients, with emphasis on Liguria’s cultural and natural assets. On-site coordination includes infopoint management, operation of Castello Spinola di Campo Ligure, and official guide services at the Aquarium of Genova. Current project work spans the European Interreg Marittimo framework (TIRAMISU, INN-PRATICA, FESTA initiatives) and the AMP BLUE REVOLUTION and BE-NATURAL programmes, all centred on sustainable development and non-extractive tourism models.

The organisation operates as a social enterprise with a mid-sized team of 11–50 employees, combining heritage conservation with environmental stewardship across its service portfolio.
